Here we have the tea shop named Bun-no-suke in Kyoto. The signs of Sanmen-daikokuten (the god with three faces for good luck, fortune and success) who is believed to protect the 3 Buddhist Treasures (The Buddha, the law and the community of followers) and the sign of “ama-zake” (white sweet wine) dominate the entrance. The signs of Sanmen-daikoku are above the doorway and on the stone pillar. The tea house has been open since 1910 and is housed in a 200 year old building. | ||||

Very good condition. Nice bright colors. Two small thin spots on the back side top edge where previous folio tabs were. Slightly embossed. Slightly wavy margins with a printing ink spot on the lower margin edge. The lower left sheet corner has two hard diagonal creases, one is 1” from the image corner and the other is 3/8” away from the image corner. The lower right sheet corner has a hard diagonal crease that is 1 1/4” away from the image corner. Not matted or mounted. | ||||
