Other Notes:

"These prints incorporate Toshi’s abstract ideas from his oils and his abstract prints. Colors are bold and when combined with a quiet subject we have an appealing print balanced between naturalism and abstraction with flat strong color areas replacing natural objects. (Per Eugene Skibbe in Yoshida Toshi.)

The white-line series includes “Stone Bridge” 1964, “Ryoanji Stone Garden, Kyoto” 1963; Ginkakuji Garden”, 1963; “Tenryuji Garden” 1963; Lantern & Maple (Toroto Koyo)” 1964; and “Window and Stone Garden” 1963.
