Based on the title, The zen temple of the image should be the temple in Kyoto associated with the Rinzai discipline of Zen Buddhism - the complex of Myoshin-ji. Several abbots prior to the Edo period were Nippo Soshun (1432) and Sekko Soshun (1477). | ||||
Condition: |
Fine condition. Gold colored metallic pigment. Wavy margins with a few soft handling creases with one through the embossed seal. Matted in new 100% rag mats. Mounted with corner mounts for easy removal from the mats. | ||||
