Other Notes:
From a series of town views, showing colorful lanterns with Buddhist “manji” symbols and others for a late summer festival. The manji symbol (for whirlwind) is used in Western Art as the "swaktika". In Buddhist art and sculpture it represents "Dharma" for universal harmony and the balance of opposites.
