One of three nude studies in print by Yoshida. Blair indicates an edition of 90 with blocks cut by Mayeda. Brush signature “Yoshida” with red “Hiroshi” seal at lower left. Pencil signature lower right margin, pencil title lower left margin; in the left margin from top to bottom, the jizuri seal, the block date of Showa 2 years (Showa ni nen saku) and the title. | (click on image for photos) |

Reference: Abe Catalogue #94, Blair Catalogue #303 (Toledo 1930). The "jizuri" seal on Yoshida Hiroshi prints is the notation he used to signify that the block was carved and printed under his supervision and met his quality requirement. It is only used on lifetime prints. | ||||

Very good condition. Printing smudges on the right margin (mostly the kento mark) and on reverse. Light warm tone to the paper. Very good color. Not matted or mounted. | ||||
