We see a rainbow effect reflected in the water of a marsh with 12 cranes flying overhead. There are fine gradations in the color of the waters. This print was published as plate No. 7 in the book “Album Prints of Chen Yuping”, published by Inspiration Art Press, Hong Kong; Shen Ping, editor. Cranes are a frequent subject of artists from Heilongjiang Province. They are a lucky symbol in Chinese tradition. | ||||

Fine condition other than a minor ink spot on the top margin at the upper right corner, a small oil spot in the lower center sheet margin and minor handling creases in the sheet margins. Not matted or mounted. | ||||
