Description:
Portobello type ware; brown-ware body with yellow printed chinoiserie landscape scene over a dark brown ground, of a type produced at Portobello or possibly Swansea or Staffordshire. Foot rim with fully glazed bottom.

R. K. Henrywood in "An Illustrated Guide to British Jugs", 1997, shows such a type in plate #160    
Condition:
3/8” chip under rim of spout (see last photo), many fine wear marks on the side.
