Description:
Newsstand. Vol. 1, #3, Summer: The 1941 volume was the first and only year published and distributed by AAA. Issues before 1941 and after were self published by Don Freeman. AAA also began a new series of volume numbers. Articles and drawings include “A Tour of Columbus Circle (where Freeman’s studio was)”, Soap Box Orators”, Alphabetical Portrait of any “American” “Intellectual” by EE Cummings, “West of the Circle”, “Kids from around Hell Hill”, 28 full page drawings with 4 that are double page fold outs.
