Description:
Zúñiga Catalogue # 237, (Brewster Catalogue #5) one of four dedication proofs. Printed and published at Editions Press, San Francisco, California. Printer - Ernest Desoto, hand printed. Printed in three colors on white heavy weight Papel grabado alemán (German etching paper). The edition of this print was 100 prints plus 25 in a Roman Numeral edition, 25 Hors Commerce, 20 artist’s proofs, 1 printer’s proof, 11 Editions Press proofs, 4 dedication prints, 2 cancellation proof . Total of 188 prints. Stone lithograph. Signed, dated and dedicated, all in pencil, lower left. Editions Press Blindstamp at lower left.

Other Notes:
This print plus “Soledad acostada” (Z-238), were Zúñiga's contribution to the Mexican Masters Suite (Suite de Maestros Mexicanos). This was the fifth lithograph completed by Zúñiga.    
Condition:
Very good condition. Printed to the edges. Some paper abrasion on the reverse top in three spots where old hinges had been removed. Not matted. Shipped flat in protective folio.
