Zúñiga Catalogue # 335, from the edition of 150, this #25. Printed at Atelier Mourlot, Paris. France. Stone Lithograph. Published by Brewster Editions, New York. Printed in five colors on Arches Paper (with watermark). The edition was 150 prints with 15 artist’s proofs, 2 printer’s proofs . There was also an edition of 50 on Lana Paper. In this print Zúñiga makes the background vegetation seem to be veiled due to his use of the litho pencil held very flat. The misty veil over the entire scene is said to be a memory of his recent return from a trip to Thailand, where everything seemed misty. Edition note: The Zúñiga Catalogue lists the edition size as 135, but clearly it is 150. |

Fine condition other than a 1/4” tear on the lower sheet edge and a few unobtrusive handling creases. Matted in good mats, hidden hinges, 3 old hinges at reverse near top. | ||||
