There is a study drawing for this in the Philadelphia Museum of Art. The work was awarded first prize at the Philadelphia Lithographic Show of the Philadelphia Print Club in 1930 and awarded a purchase prize at the Artists for Victory exhibition at the Metropolitan in 1942. | ||||

Very good dark impression. Very good condition: Very pale light stain, one very small soil spot in right margin 5/16” from the image (see sig. photo). Residue on old brown tape hinges on the reverse upper corners. Now matted in new 100% rag mats, corner mounts. | ||||
