Signed lower right, “John Sloan”, “100 proofs” at lower left, title at lower center, all in pencil. Signed on plate lower right “John Sloan 37”. While primarily known as a New York artist and member of “The Eight”, Sloan made his first visit to Santa Fe in 1919 and was a regular visitor there for many years. | ||||

Very good condition with these notes: Very pale light stain, matted in new 100% rag mats, hinge mounts, One light fox spot below signature and right of title 1/2” tear at the very lower left sheet corner with an old mounting hinge on the reverse side of the corner. | ||||
