Description:
Set of 12 lithographs published by Associated American Artists, New York, edition of 250; includes works by ten Mexican artists of the Taller De Grafica Popular, Mexico City. The works depict the daily labors of the various Mexican peoples and while not as politically radical as some of the other works issued by the Tallar they still center on labor, ethnicity, exploitation and poverty. Folio sheet in Spanish and English explains each work in the context of what work is shown and sometimes a comment on the district in which the scene is set. Cover sheet shows by diagram and arrow the geographic location of each print. List of the prints and the artist at the bottom of the sheet. All prints signed by the artist in pencil.

Condition:
Age tone to paper in margins, very minor spotting in margins of several. Cover folios with age toning, a few pencil notations on the detail page and several bio’s have been pasted on. All images the same size, some sheets vertical, some horizontal. Loose as issued but missing the original paperboard case. Now in an archival file box in which they will be shipped. Individual print details in the pdf file.
