Other Notes: |
This is an example of Hart's love of depicting cock fight scenes and the various associated little scenes that he witnessed. It is also an example of his experimenting with different ways to enhance an image - i.e. the watercolor wash. A scene from his Central American journeys.
Condition: |
Very good condition with these notes: Minor toning of sheet, indication of bleaching of fox spots in sheet margins, not affecting a very good image. Matted and mounted with hinges to new 100% rag mats.
