Other Notes:
These works were executed for a special printing of De Maupassant’s tales of love and perplexing events, to be illustrated by Dehn. The book was published by Random House. It included some additional smaller illustrations by Dehn also. The 20 in this folio were the only full page illustrations used in the book.
Condition:
All the pages are in very good condition without tears or creases. There may be a bit on sheet edge toning or soiling but if so, it is insignificant. Any other condition notes will be found under the scene description for each entry in the pdf catalogue. The sheets are housed in an archival box. No original folio material is available other than the limitation sheet.
