George Charles Haite

b. 1855, Bexley, Kent
d. 1924

A self taught artist, Haite exhibited first at the Crystal Palace and then at the Royal Academy in the last two decades of the 19th Century. He was mostly a landscape artist and became the first President of the London Sketch Club in 1908.
